Heard a racket coming from a bush and found these narcissus flies mating. The male was continously using it's wings which make a loud buzz- the frequency of which was going up and down. In the third shot the male suddenly stopped flapping it's wings and went rigid. Shortly after it disengaged. Caught up with the male a few mins later with the MPE-65- looking decidedly knackered
