Jun 30, 2006 11:22 | #5 I too was thinking the second one because of the lack of shadow and better 'framing', but I like that they're both looking (more) towards the camera in the first... 30D w/grip, 17-85IS, 70-200L f/2.8IS, 430EX, and a very long wishlist.

Im going against the grain here and say the first one - I like the composure better. The second one is too tightly cropped for my taste.
