Follow up and stay with it. These are the opportunities that open doors.

Read a lot, practice, and follow the job lead. It may or may not be what you want on the long run, but it will certainly be worth the opportunity.

Man, jump on that thing! Most of my big jobs and contract work (not only in photography) have come from people saying "wow you do such and such! Could you . . . " They name something I haven't tried yet but I know how well I can rise to a challenge, accept the work and then rock on through it. JohnEBongo is absolutely corect. with that pressure you aren't second guessing yourself 'cause you don't have time and even if you don't go about the task in the same fashion another would you find your own style and own workflow and it is just as good or better!

Good luck!

Look at it this way: If you don't go for it, you won't have the job anyway. So really, you have nothing to lose.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. It's not like you were looking for a job. Follow through, may be nothing, may be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Did he mention paying you or you're just supposed to volunteer your work to him?
