hello everybody. this is my first post...and i'm brand new to shooting and pp and everything, so go easy on me please. i bought this lens last week, and i do like it a lot. i acutally just got the book understanding exposure, so i hope that helps me out too. anyway, here's a few pictures i was able to take.

i've enjoyed looking at all your pictures, and i look forward to learning a lot from all of you. happy turkey day!

Punnie,

Those are some great shots for your first time! You defintely have a good eye for photos... I especially like the second one. Your processing reflects the cold, uninviting essence of the tracks. Where is that? Looks like Chicago?

I need all the help I can get.

That's one of the cooler self portrait shots, Paul!
If I was doing your type of work I'd spend more time shooting the surroundings than working... and probably get kicked off the job.

Yes its pretty cool. I only got into photogaphy a few months back so will be definitely taking my DSLR to jobs, but will avoid getting sacked for not doing any work.:D
