I've been mainly taken photo's of my daughter these days but I do manage to get some other shots in now and then....

Looks like a young one. You were able to get fairly close to it too.

They get pretty brave when there is a bunch of seed hanging just below them... I think this one is getting pretty used to me!!

Thats true, in the park I used to visit they were so friendly if you carry some nuts, they used to run up my trouser leg, grab the nut & run off with it..

Yeah im still subscribed to this thread, I dont own the 17-70 anymore since going full frame, but its always good to see whats going on in the other camp so to speak ;-)a

Its not my best lens, but its just so versatile. One of my favorites shots with this lens....

the focus is a bit out on this but the colour came out nice
