I'm usually taking photos of my kids, but I came across this flower in my garden and loved the colors on it. I also wanted to try out the macro capability on my new Tamron.

yep it was really harsh, I was thinking of getting up early one day to practice with better lighting.

You could use an umbrella to shade the flowers to get a softer light!
Beautiful shots, I like the first one, how you composed both flowers together!

Harsh light or not the colours and detail have come very well. Good shot.
