I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in nature (where I am usually more active...) But I thought macro people would know more about butterflies...

Those three butterflies were taken yesterday in the swiss Jura mountains (~1500 m =4900 ft). I tried to search in a book, but there are so many species so close to each other...

Thanks Brian for your answer. As for #3, I know that exposure should be better, but I didn't have the reflex to use the flash (shame on me  )

Number 1 looks like a brown argus. Number 2 is a common blue.

except for the wing's shape the head and antennea look the same between number 1 and 2. Here's one I found showing both sides of the wing http://www.bugsandweeds.co.uk/Bflies/Common%20Blue%202.jpg (external link)

Thanks Kraig. Yes, I think 1&2 are the same kind of butterfly (but not the same specimen, hence the slightly different wing shape...)
