Excellent shot Adrian! Very symmetrical composition, sharp lens and the cloudy weather-(or early morning?) sure helped!
I hope I can do a similar one....

Thanks a lot! I made it at 9AM. Forgive me, but I don't remember what was the weather that day. It was five years ago :-)

This is true. The guards have many offers from approaching citizens, especially late at night when they are guarding the Presidential building at the back which is more secluded.:-P

I believe it must be tiring and demanding job. You can't move, and tourists can be very annoying as well. On the other hand it's very prestigious job. Almost every country has its own Tomb of The Unknown Soldier and in my opinion it's a honour to serve is such a place.
