Yeah, it was all done with chalk. Same as the stuff we had a school. :shock:

Unfortunately most of them never made it to completion because it rained on the last day. :cry: The first two days where hot and sunny on black tarmac which tripled the temperature. So this was a real feat of endurance from the artists, followed by bitter disappointment as the rain washed their work away before it was finished.

This was taken in a small town of St. Jacobs Ontario so I am not sure if it really is urban. This band was a group of kids from South Africa and their energy was contagious, they were raising money for people suffering from AIDS in their homeland.
