I was at local Fry's to pick up a 4 GB of CF and 2 GB of SD for a up coming vacation/trip. Then I saw they have this Wolverine FlashPac 7000 series PSD (40 GB)for $139 with $30 rebate. I thought it's a good valuve and bought one.
I already have 6 GB of CF, and viewing pictures on the device is not important to me. Couple of questions:
1) The model mumber for my particular one is 7004, yet the Wolverine webside states their 40 GB model is 7040, anyone knows if mine is a older version and any problem because of it?
2) I did a quick test of downloading. one GB of CF takes about 12 mins to d/l, and after 6 GBs of transfer, there was still juice left in the build in battery. Is the transfer speed of GB/12 mins going to be a problem when I use in the field?
