Nice design, but your nav is inconsistent ... you need to have a nav bar that shows up in one location and stays there on all pages ...

I was going to comment that when I clicked on an image in the gallery, the imaged loaded in the same window, totally alone! I had to keep back-clicking to get back to the site. Now, after X mins, when I click on an image there's a flash thing that shows the image. I went back to check the first images I clicked on, and now it works like (I assume) it should.

totally understand what you mean. The problem with this script is that it only shows the required animation after the script and all thumbnails are loaded. clickingon images before script and images are loaded results in photos coming up in same window and hence requies back clicking.

Very much the reason why we are going to steer away from this gallery style as part of our update which incorporates some of the suggestions here including consistent menu location on each page.

:)

Why would that scare you from using Lightbox ... there's a price to pay no matter what system you use ... Flash can take a while to load and is not search engine/web standards friendly ... and HTML solutions need to load fully to work properly ...

Agree, wondering whether the script can be preloaded? so that images as thumbnails show after script is loaded.. that way clients will prob click on images when they seem them come up with the intended popup transition..

mmmm will try to look into this, this weekend.
