just that someone took photo of the two (pitt and jolie) and these appeared on the net and then the police eventually found where the photos came from and they (pics) were seized. just found it interesting and photography related ;)

...was he not allowed to take pictures of them? I'm lost too.. So you're not allowed to post shots of brad and angelina on the internet?

I still don't get it. Somebody took pictures of them and posted them. They are celeb's and this kind of thing happens all the time. I mean look at all the junk papers in the check out isle at the grocery store... What did the photog do wrong? Post the pictures online without first selling them for a small fortune? Or were they stolen by chance? I'd like to hear the details as they come out on this one.

Jon.

Note too that the pictures were taken in Africa. I wonder how that works for a investigation here in the states? Interesting.

Jon.

I believe part of the issue here is the memory stick was stolen and then a photo posted. It wasn't the photographer who posted the photo.

This story is kind of convoluted. Apparently a family member of the celebrities took his broken camera into a shop and somehow the memory went missing from the store.

What I don't get is why the secret service would be involved.

my guess is that it's becasue of who's in the image with them. I'm guessing she's an African government official, which may be raising questions of who was present that would leak images on the net. Just my guess tho. Celebrity business is such nonsense to me. Who Cares!!! :)
