There wasn't much bug activity, but I did catch this fellow in a cooperative mood. The flash is really handy, and sure beats the heck out of the old days (before TTL flash metering). The Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro has 58mm threads (as does the lens I have, the Sigma 105mm macro). The EM-140 package comes with 58mm and 55mm adapters. The E-TTL is really something. The old days (i.e., Canon A-1) required calculations and bracketing. Bracketing is still handy, but usually not mandatory anymore. It allows me to just set the camera and focus, then fire and forget. It is so easy to do macro with an E-TTL flash.
