My family sat down for dinner outside, and this bumblebee started hovering over my son's head! After about three minutes of me exercising remarkable restraint, my husband kindly excused me so I could grab my camera. I must have taken close to 100 images while the bee kept flying in a three foot radius, always coming back to look at me. Of course, he never stopped moving, never landed, so the images aren't as sharp as I would like, but I was thrilled to be able to get as close as I did...

Great shots- interesting bee
I'd guess the colour saturation loss might be due to a swap from AdobeRGB colour space to SRGB colour space that the web uses.

Thanks, guys. Next time he shows up I will work on better lighting, etc. It was all I could do to manually focus on him this time!
