Took this today while out at Lake Draper in Oklahoma. This is the time of the year I chase insects, birds lose their vibrant mating colors, so insects win out.

Canon 20D
Sigma 180mm, 1.4 TC and 20mm extension tube.
1/250 sec, f/14
Mode: Manual
ISO: 200
Flash exp comp: -1/3

I really like it, love the lighting and bokeh. Sharp, good composition. But isn't a dragonfly a tiny featherless bird, lol.:D

Lovely shot and colours, good DOF as well, and a nice bokeh. Composition is nice as well. The only potential problem I see with the image is the two out of focus white stems are distracting. Other than that, lovely image.

I love it :D It is a really wonderful shot but the over exposure of the grass it is standing on really bothers the eye :(

absolutely gorgeous shot the sharpness/contrast are superb........
very well composed also

however it does look just a tad over sharpened and there are fringe lines appearing round the edges of the body
