Hi all. I figured it would be more 'practical' to get 2 430ex flashes than buy 430ex and a transmitter. I do a vass amount of wireless flash photography. It may sound like a dumb question, but am I able to have a 430 ex as a main and another 430ex as a slave on the same channel? Also, would I be able to control the output on each flash when it is a slave and or main differently?
thank-you

i dont' think the 430ex allows for a master, so if you wanted to have a master/slave combo, you will need either a 580/550/st-e2 with the 430ex

The 430EX doesn't operate as a master, for that you need a 580EX, a 550EX, or an ST-E2.
