Inaugural macro shots

My inaugural macro shots, with 20D and EF 50 macro. My apologies, if these shots do not fulfill the existing etiquette like obligatonary duckshots with new teles, but I sincerely hope that bee in rose is comparable. Also another bug in the flower.

All in all, couldn't imagine that DOF would be so difficult. But this is fun.

I like the first shot because of the composition, but it's lacking something. Needs some more punch to it... can't put my finger on what though.

I really like the second shot. I think it's because of the pink and the green. The composition works very well for me too. The bee just looks like it happened to be there when you took that shot. Really like it

Just one TINY thing - 'shop out that pink bit on the left. There is also a bit of distortion in the green part, but I think it's just down to image compression.
