Just calibrated my LCD monitor using a Monaco Optix XR, and I found out that I need to reprocess some of my bird pics. Either the colors were off, or shadow detail were not optimal. Here's a couple of re-cooked birds...;)

These Olive-backed Sunbirds were from the Yishun area at neighboring Singapore. I got them when I tested the 500 f4 IS that I bought there, both taken hand held with the 20D, manual exposure.

Female, 1/800, f/4, ISO 400

IMAGE NOT FOUND

Male, 1/200, f4, ISO 800

IMAGE NOT FOUND

Troy, in most sunbirds (like in many other fauna species, including the mammal Homo sapiens), the male is generally more colorful....:)

Razor sharp images. Good colour. These are quite magnificent shots, well done.
