My sister-in-law wanted me to take some photos of her new baby (my niece). Most of the photos I have done in the past are all outside shots because I do not have studio lights. I really wanted to try these photos, however. So, I ran to Home Depot and bought some inexpensive clamp lights and my husband put together a frame made from PVC to hold them. I know it sounds cheap--it was. But it was last minute and I wanted to see what could be done. Unfortunately, the baby did not want to stay awake for her photos, so I took most of them with her sleeping. I managed to get one or two of her awake. I am pleased with the results, and the mom is happy as well.

I would really appreciate any constructive advice. I am considering buying studio lights in the future.

very cute! I would actually like the first with out the flower... It draws my eye away from that precious little baby! (I love her little dipee cover!)

Adorable. I agree with the above the flower should go..it's to distracting. I also think it's a bit to soft right around her head.
