What a gorgeous butterfly and a fantastic photo. I always have such trouble photographing butterflies. Either it's so windy that the flower stem won't stay still, or the butterfly flies off as soon as I'm focussed. Was this taken using a flash?

There's a similar species in the UK called a green hairstreak.
