Recommendations for lots of Indoor (Nightclub) Photography Lens?

If you had the money, you can probably get the 35Ls... but definitely take the 17-40 f/4Ls off the list...

When I was shooting with both the 35L and 30EX in low-light, I'd say the AF accuracy was comparable. Not a whole lot difference. The difference isn't so much with these lenses per se but with the body you're using. I've found the 20D/30D bodies to focus better with these fast lenses (no surprise though) as compared to the XT body, for example. Using a 1dMK2N with both the 35L and 30EX (fits physically with vignetting but still fantastic IQ when cropped) the AF is outstanding. I rarely use AF assist with my f1.4's. The Siggie is an excellent lens. [Mine had to be adjusted but came back stellar.]

I just wanted to add the Sigma lens in the mix. I took these last night at a Hamlet play in the park about 1 hour after sunset at 100iso 1.8, handheld, no flash.
