I like the onion flower shot. Nice comp, and the details are really good, nice focus. The colors are nice too. # 2 shot not so much.Comp is looser Maybe if it was croped some,like long and narrow? And the reds look "to" red. I can't see many details in the flowers themselves.
But that is all just an opinion, and I am no expert. And I really do like the first shot.

Thanks for the input! I guess I played with the saturation and contrast too much in the 2nd one, and also could be cropped a little more to bring out the details.
