And the blown sky doesn't help either. This is one of those shots that would possibly come out well using the HDR process. Means you'd have to go back and reshoot though

If it had a truely blue sky I think this would be amazing. And I love the look of the broken windows against the red corrugated siding. joanakaylene Member 115 posts Likes: 1 Joined Jun 2006 Location: western, michigan More info | bracket! #1 is nice but the sky is white and by bracketing, that's easily fixed because you can take the building from one photo and the sky from another and put them together! whoo for digital. i would also suggest using curves and a layer mask to lighten the bottom as everyone seems to think that it draws attention towards it.

Jul 08, 2006 15:39 | #8 once again thanks for the advice.. i love the rendition youve done.. the blue sky really makes this pop.. i would like to see my first attempt with a dark stormy sky as well.. any takers and planting that in for a look? I am a newb and do not have any sky shots around .. yet!
