Artsy Eye... what do you think?

I wanted to try something different. I'm trying to open up to different aspects of photography and this has been my favorite so far. I'm posting both the color and b/w version. I'd love to know what you think. Hope this is a good section of the forum to post this. I wasnt sure where it would go.

What do you think? Would these make nice photos to frame and hang?

Ok.. now I'm flicking up and down comparing the two, and maybe, just a little bit, I prefer the black and white

Oh, and YES, they would definately make great pictures to frame and hang

neat idea. i like both, but i prefer the color version.

I also like it. They both do something differently but they are both as good in there own way.

These are lovely!

On the artistic side, I think I might clone out the shadow on the side of the child's face that shows through the cut-out (lower left)

Holy smokes, those are great shots. I like the color, but that B&W is amazing.

Donna... that's funny... I find myself flicking back and forth comparing the two! LOL

I'll see what I can do about the shadow. I see what you mean. For me, it's not distracting and maybe getting rid of it might off balance the shot. But I'll give it a try...thanks for the idea.

I love both. And I would hang either.

I love them both as well... I can't decide which one I like more.

I can't decide, either - I like them both. The black and white one has something special about it, though - what a pretty eye, too.

I'll probably get a larger print of the color version b/c the colors would blend nicely with the tones in my livingroom. And then get a smaller black and white for the hallway.

I like the B/W one. I just think it is more dramatic. But, then again, I like B/W in general.
