So I'm sitting here, putting together shots from a shoot last weekend and I thought I'd take an "eye-break" and post a shot from the shoot.
The subject is a local singer/songwriter. I did the shoot on location in under 4 hours...3 wardrobe/backdrop changes and all. The setup was my Elinchrom RX series, just two of them, shot with my 1Dmk2n/17-40L.
The key light was fitted with a shoot through, and the fill was a silver lined octabox. The background was actually this big sheet of reflective material. I brought it along for its purpose proper, then just got this idea to use it as a pseudo-high key back drop.
I think they turned out pretty rockstar, almost fashion-ish...
