love all of them bar no 1, no 1 doesnt speak to me like the others. I look at the others and almost can imagine there thoughts and feelings.

All of them but the third look soft/out of focus to me. Perhaps try some sharpening in Photoshop?

Off to a good start!

#1 is a good shot but a bit flat and soft as mentioned before. Needs some more contrast.

#2 Too much contrast on this one - most of the face is blown out.

#3 Very solid, I like this shot a lot.

#4 Probably my favorite overall. A great shot, just could use a tad bit of sharpening.

I think you're looking at them far too critiquely. None of them are out of focus, just a little soft. If you'd show them to the average person they would not say anything about the focus. You can tell what you're looking at.

I don't like the blown highlights in #2 - that just jumps out at me.

I like them all but I love #3 the best. #2 would have been perfect if her knees weren't so........ white? Or even if her knees just weren't there.
