I can get either:

1. Sigma Zoom Wide Angle 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM + Polarizer filter (external link)

2. Lowepro Photo Trekker AW II Camera Backpack - Black + 2gig sandisk + other small accessories (external link)

3. Save it up for something else

I'd think the Sigma would be nice if I take my trip to West Hollywood this summer to visit my brother. I'd need a lens that lets in more light as I want to do night-time shots as well, any suggestions? Anybody selling an UWA?

I see from your sig that apart from the 50 1.8 you don't have any wide/med lenses. The 10-20mm Sigma would be quite extreme in contrast with the other lenses.
I assume your normal subjects/style calls mainly for longer focal lengths, but I'd say a 17-40L, 17-55 or 17-85 would fill in the 'gap' nicely depending on how much you want to spend.

I'd probably go for the lens. The bag isn't all that expensive, nor are the other accesories you want to pick up. You can buy those here and there, but picking up a lens is something you do only so often...
