bright room but quite dark focusing at x3- x5; should have shone light on.

Hakuba bracket but with lightweight ball head replaced with heavier Jessops model to avoid creep.

Great series.

Yes the MP-E gets dark at 5X. One of the advantages of the macro flashes are the built in incandecent focussing lights.
