I'm starting to think that the Night Herons are never going to hatch out. Took a short visit to Eco yesterday morning to check on them and neither pair looks like they are ready for parenthood any time soon. Maybe they are sitting on cue balls instead of eggs.
Anyway, one of the males ( I think) was kind enough to strike the pose.

Nice and clean shots, Ian.

Re the eggs, you think maybe they've turned into hardboiled eggs by now, what with the oppressive heat we've been having all over lately? :)
