He needs to add silk to his line- I could never advise someone to purchase nylon manties.

Well that is part of the problem Wu. He was a soldier and now is selling panties to guys. He probably needs some business development and marketing advice, which I would happily provide. I think much of his experience has been as a user of the product. Clearly a silk line allows access to a different demographic and will likely yield significant improvements in margin if packaged correctly as a premium product.

My thoughts, precisely re the silk line.
Plus, nylon just feels yucky ;)

  Nice one. Good to see you turning your fantasies into a worthwhile business Lord. I knew you were considering self employment, but this has really come out of left field. Best of luck with it ;) I hope there is a market for your radical Manties line. I like the product photography too. Which lens you use?

With clientele such as yourself placing orders almost on a daily basis, it makes for a healthy and quite profitable market. ;) BTW, I didn't have the leopard print polyester man-thongs you requested. I can custom make one for you'd if you like. And I used my trusty disposable camera for all the shots.

Just a though. Maybe we should recap in a years time and see how things are going. I may have to eat my words if I bust mine and yours looks like new!

Ok, six months in and I still use the bag daily and usually carry my 30D with 17-70mm and plenty of room to spare unless I need my laptop with me when I use my Crumpler December Quarter. Proved invaluable heading to Barcelona recently as could just fold flat in my carry on bag. Didn't need to wait around checking in bags or at the conveyor coming off. Also, day to day was perfect and non-obvious it's a camera bag. It looks a bit dirtier these days but that helps with the security I think as means I blend it easily.

I missed this thread first time around, so comsequently have nearly wet myself.

It answers quite a few questions I had - specifically about Lordy, bless him, and as such deserves a bump.

Oh, Connie, I have to agree with you. Crumpler is overstuffed and overstiff.

Just be careful when wearing Malone's new underclothing line that you don't get too stiff. Malone'll want you to model for him.

Oh, and the Gap bag? It's real wimpy, man. 8-)

That's Ok, I am very certain of my masculinity so can allow my more feminine characteristics to pop out here and there ;-)a

BTW, I have noticed that your avatars seem to only feature masculine guys these days. I do know that when some men reach advanced middle age then they can begin to question their own 'leanings' and 'preferences'. Our good friend Pet-Kill only had L's hidden away in his closet. What about you big man? What you got in yours? :p

Maybe if I want to match the appearance of this:

Seriously, I might as well use just a backpack for when the padding is not needed. Have you seen the protective handkerchiefs for lenses from crumpler or tamrac? They're neat.

Good to know Pet is at least being well cared for MD, in a manly high five kinda way at least. It's a neat spin on the 'kid found in cellar' story anyway ;-)a

Go use that backpack Doc and don't forget to accessorize it with a neat silk scarf. Good to personalise your bags ... apparently!!
