I finally got around to getting a shot of the moon

This is the best of about ten shots I took while attempting my first try at the moon. I was surprised at how relatively simple it was.

This is heavily cropped - probably close to a 50% crop.

I also went pretty heavy on the USM to help bring out that detail.

Great shot Nick, I have to get out in the next few days using the 400 5.6L to get some pics of the moon also. My wife promised her friend I would do this for her and I dare not dissapoint. :(
