Are any of you attending the 2006 U.S. MotoGP in Laguna Seca June 21-26? If so do you want to meet up somewhere? I have an extra room reserved if anyone needs accommodations otherwise I will release it.

For your viewing pleasure I have included some photos from last year.

John Hopkins (21), Colin Edwards (5) and Sete Gibernau (15) in the early going.

Max Biaggi (3), Kenny Roberts Jr. (10) andAlex Hofmann (66) in the corkscrew.

Roger Lee Hayden (95) and Jason Disalvo fought it out the entire Supersport race.

My favorites in AMA Superbikes. Here Jake Zemke follows Miguel Duhamel. They finished 5th & 6th in reverse order they appear here.

We should be set for a good time this year. A POTN meet would also be nice.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.

Hi Skip;
I will be there as well. If you still have the room there is a friend of mine who is looking for a room.He works for Folsom Cycle center, his name is Jared and he works in the sales dept.Here are some old GP images as well as some of what I shot last year. On the photo of Doug Chandler if anyone can tell me what year this was taken as well as where and whose bike he is riding I will offer a 12x18 print of your choice. Also what series was the bike from.

Thanks;
I have been invited to be a part of the 2nd. Annual Vintage motorcycle Auction in Monterey over the USGP weekend. I will probably have this piece and several others in my collection for sale in sizes ranging from 12x18 to 24x36. I will also have a giclee painting done of one of the first images done in this style. The Print is 4ft. x 6ft. and is signed by Eric Bostrom as well as Lee Bivens and myself. I am hoping to sell enough to buy a new lens as well as donating money to the Sacramento Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Joshua Serne's name.

I don't have credentials either Todd but yes it will be a blast.

Too bad you can't make it this year Andy. It was great meeting you last year.

Mike, when & where is that Motorcycle Auction? Is it by invitation only? I'd like to see your printed work.

Anyone else going?

Ride Safe, everyone

Skip I'm assuming that you'll ride the VFR again this year as they have eliminated race track parking for cars.

Though last year was a blast, and Im just up the road, I'll be watching the event on the tube this year. Just to many things going on this time of year for me. Have fun!

Tip: I got some really good shots last year by climbing up on the bridge supports by turn 4. Riders were 20 feet from me flying by. Try it out!

That is one of my favorite spectator locations... no climbing for me, but I'll have a step ladder to get a little better position. I'm just wondering how early in the morning I'm going to need to get there to secure the location :rolleyes: Oh well, worst case I'll set my tent up there rather than up by turn 9!
