I am so jealous, the only thing that I keep thinking is that it's less than 8 weeks till Phillip Island, it's been ages (4 whole months) since I was there for Superbikes so I am getting desparate.

As a side point is anyone here going to be at Phillip Island?

I won't be able to head out until my cardiac rehab session probably about 10 AM. Not sure if I will be at the track Friday but definitely be there Saturday morning.

@DWimages....... I'll take a stab and say its a YZR500 ridden by robbie peterson (south africa native) for the AMA in 91 or 92 season.
Kenny brought two of them over from motogp to compete in the AMA Super unlimited class (i think) since I think they had rules about "run what u brought".Dont know the location of the picture.

BoBoy yes you ae correct in the first part. The second part is that it is that the image was taken at laguna Seca during a track day and the rider is Doug Chandler riding the 500 for the first time.

Glorious Mike. Good photo of Rossi who was really having a bad day. The Honda boys were really kicking butt.

Glad you got your scooter back and didn't melt down into your boots ;-)a

Skip, in your profile it says 'ignore these new rules at your own peril,' but numerous times in this thread have people attached more than the limit of two photos per user.

In the past I have had numerous photos docked by a moderator, so what gives now? Can we go back to posting more than two photos per user, or are we just giving select benefits to select VIP users? Please inform so we all can play for or against the rules without fear of retribution.

The current rules were instituted one week ago. Prior to that they were just guidelines so the hard rules do not apply.
The only post in violation of the rules was the last one by DWimages which placed two attached images in the same thread. I resolved that issue by moving that post to a new thread here.
