Hiya all
Have no Idea what this spider is???? all I know is it was a tad aggressive every time I tried to get near it threw its legs up towards me & I'm sure I heard it hiss, the body was about half the size of a little finger nail.

I tried to get a shot of its Spinneret if that what its called but found it very hard trying to sneak up a spiders bum, I've tried removing the noise but it s still grainy ho hum

Hey Mark,

Nice shots of a lovely looking Crab Spider. The 'throw my arms wide' tactic is very common for them. She really wanted to give you a big hug!

Nice shots! The 1st one is my favorite. I ran the image below through Neat Image twice and it came out with less noise.

Leorooster I ran that shot through Neat Image using the auto set up, when I did it a second time it looked to soft, did you do it manually ?? cause it looks better after your go.

Mark,

I generally just run Neat Image through twice on its default settings if it's a really noisy image (I find that this is very very rare for me to have to do). Once I've done the Neat Image (as a plugin, within Photoshop itself), I then resize, using bicubic sharper, and then I run a single pass of USM on it again. That restores some of the sharpness that is lost from the noise reduction software and file resize I find.

Thanks for your comments, I'll give that a go next time Dave, only just worked out how to get Neat Image to work as a plug-in in Elements, all this learning Aaaaaah, whats that they say about teaching old dogs new tricks!!!!!

That for your comments, this place I've found is full of insects, bugs, critters & butterflies the only trouble is they're all just outa reach & it's not the sorta place you can take risks cause tiz a fair way to fall.
