I'll admit it; this is in NO WAY photography related; but I'm a happy boy right now!

The ONLY justice for the botched Direct Kick France got in the 19th minute was the bad kick in the Shootout.

What Zidane did was horrible!

Okay; I'm done.

Well done Italy! - worthy winners in the end.
Z. Zidane has ended his international career in disgrace. At least Wayne Rooney has only just started his. Plenty of time to make ammends.

Congratulations Italy you deserved it.

Would have preferred to see Portugal in the final, but I rooted for Italy to win (I'm still not convinced France deserved to be in the final). According to reports, Zidane had a pretty good reason to hit the Italian though (if Materazzi really called him a "dirty terrorist" as some news is saying). But that will play out in the press I'm sure.

Little vid i found funny http://grouper.com …diaDetails.aspx?id=991389 (external link) "maybies ronaldo studied it before this world cup". Dont mean to flame but in my oppinion Zidane was out of line with the headbutt, but after watching it a few times all seemed well (even a few smiles were raised as he walked back toward the halfway line) so something extremely offensive was obviously slurred at him for Zidane to turn so sudden and commit the offence he did.

Yeah we've all heard the saying sticks and stones etc, but in my view it takes two to tango and if a replay of the vid was used in the sending off of Zidane then it would have been interesting to have heard the audio from Materazzi. In my book any form of racial or personal mockery, diving/play acting should all be deemed as cheating for personal gain and a red card issued, and only then may we see football played in the manor it should.

Just my 2 cents .
