I am not very good at photoshop yet, and was wondering if anyone could edit out the car in the background on the left side easily? If its too hard or takes too much time then never mind, but thanks for taking a look!

I have the full size image here, sadly I wasn't in RAW format at the time:

BTW, this is a MIG M-39 that I got to ride in/fly this morning. I'll post some other cool pictures soon.

Why would I comment on this picture? well yes, of course, because of the nice photoshop work/decided to work toward 1000 posts.

Lucky you for getting that ride:D Its not a Mig 39 "Flatpack" though the lastest and greatest Mig fighter which I think is still in development .

I think its and Aero L-29 Albatross Trainer

Wow Nick C. that is awesome. I need to learn to do that, I'll probably have to take a class or something.

I wasn't nearby when the pilot was explaining what plane it was, and albatross does sound familiar but I think I remember him saying something about having a -29 and trading it for a -39. I dunno, it was fun to fly in.

What? Seriously, that's stupid and wastes everyones time.

Lovely shot, even better without the car and even better still with the PP.

Have you tried PS, it really isnt too difficult to learn for basics. I had it nailed in less than a month for the basics. (like the work on your photgraph)

:)

Great shot and great PP work!
My version of Photoshop won't run on 98SE:(
Anybody into historical software? :)
PS I knew I should have stayed with Win 3.1 or was it 3.2? :)

I have PS 6.0, and have used it very little, mostly for creating simple stuff never modifying pictures. But I did play with the curves and unsharp mask to creat this image. It does look alot better, now I just need to practice on the rest of my images.

straightened it up, added a levels adjustment layer at inputs of 52/1.23/242, and outputs of 16/255 and a couple localized curves (one for the upper half of the image, and the other for the lower). Also, brought the treeline down to the top of the wing for better separation. Unsharp mask to finish it up. Also tried a BW version to see how it looked.
