Hi, took a series of photo's for this young man, he is very car proud, and while the location was not the best or the time of day, (as can be seen by the sun glare), but anyhow I am hoping I captured his attitude and also his pride in his vehicle.

I would like some opinions please on the photo's.

Thanks

Seems you achieved what you wanted. Like you said though, pity about the time of day, didn't help much with exposure huh?.

Yes the high sun and glare off his paint work wasn't the best, but that was the time he was available for the shoot.

Which photo is the preferred? In that regards I mean more for conveying emotion rather than technically the most correct, exposure wise?

because its about the car, I would go for 2 or three, just cause there is more of the car in those shots. I like three best cause it's framed nice I reckon.

The first shot does it for me his attitude comes through and his connection to the car with his arm along the bonnet. I htink if you did a levels adjustment and darkened it a little would be better.......nice Torrie btw!

He definately has a connection to his car, even his T-shirt is a Vintage Torana Shirt. It's nice to see people be proud of what they have.

The first photo is a favourite of mine too, it's just the sun flare bothers me somewhat. Thanks for the comments.

I tried an edit on the image Roxxy, what do you think?
Roger.

great subject matter. yes, i'd look for a location which provides a less distrascting background. maybe an empty parking lot or even on the side of a long stretch of country road?
