Wow! Awesome I love it, love you how you were able to catch the entire rainbow! from edge to edge! Probably never get the chance to do that again! lol!
Great shot! :)

That was taken with Tokina 12-24 using all of the 12mm that it gave. Actually I felt if I had that 10mm from Canon :o

Which one do you think is overdone. Maybe I can fix that. I have three layers on this photo that were fixed independently. The sky, rocks and foreground. I definitely think the sky is a bit overdone, but I was not able to get the blue colors to my satisfaction without oversaturating the red/ yellow. Need to go to the drawing board again, I guess.

Hello,
this is a very nice image indeed, but I also think that you need to reconsider post processing. It's all red, so red that the eye is not even attracted by the rainbow. To me it looks more like a very hot planet, not earth...

I would restore a more natural look to colours and try to pop up the rainbow as much as possible. You can maybe use Selective Colour to affect colours individually.

The shot is very nice, I think you can play more with it and get a better result.

regards,
T.O.

yep the sky.

you dont have to saturate all the channels at once, when you get the hue/sat/lightness box up notice the drop down box at the top - ie for your sky you can only saturate the cyans/blues and leave the rest alone, have a play:)

Ok, I changed the shade of the sky towards blue. Is it any good now? I also put the original in Inset.
