I was bitten by this guy

My left middle finger was bitten by this guy the day before yesterday. I was taking a shot of a fly and all the sudden I saw this guy enjoying his dinner on my finger. I caught it and snap a shot of it. Please excuse my fingers ;)

you could have flattened the culprit, then used photoshop to pop the pic

Asian tiger mosquito...those things bite anytime of day. nasty buggers. great shot...and stamina letting him have lunch while you captured the shot.

Looks a lot like the Dengue mosies we have. Mosquitoes are just nasty. Can anyone think of anything bad if they were wiped off the face of the earth??

Oh sorry to ramble. Its a great shot! I don't know if I could have controlled the impulse to swat it. You are a macro insect photographer at heart. ;)

Hehe......I think you're right that no one would ever miss a bit if these guy just disappear for some reasons ;)
