Im getting ready to place my order for my rebel xt --woohoo! Think Im going to get the 70-200 f/4 and maybe the 50 1.8.....but do you have a favorite walk around---leave on the camera lens that you use?

Jul 11, 2006 11:03 | #9 I'm tempted to say my Tamron 28-75mm f2.8, but the more I use my Canon 17-40mm f4.0, the more I like it. Canon 6D & 7D. Panasonic GX85 and a number of ever changing lenses.

I mainly used a Sigma 15-30mm EX which is wonderful but not quite long enough some times. If you want more length then the 24-105mm IS L ticks all the boxes. Decent IQ, good bokah, reliable and useful range. I tend to carry both if I am shooting seriously, or the Canon is on a general walkaround. https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1203740
