Not really a macro but taken with my birding lens - 400mm f5.6. Amazing the detail you can capture as this one was taken from 4 mtrs away, handheld.

i agree coz i use 1 too....:D
however, the noise is a tad too much when crop 100% using my 20d...
i got a fren who use a 300mmf4 and it can do a much better job than the 400mm...:)
nice shot anyway....;)

Yes, I know. This is very heavily cropped and technically the pic is crap. The whole point of posting this is to show the amount of detail that modern lenses/digicams can capture from 4 metres away.
