I've seen quite a few hopper nymphs in the past few weeks. Here are a few shots of different ones. Any idea what they are?

I know NOTHING about this stuff, but #2 looks like a albino frog in drag to me. :-) Nice captures though!

I am amazed at you guys who have the patience to capture stuff like that. I am sure if I tried you would see my irritation in my photos through camera shake! LOL

My advice is DON'T TRY if you haven't, as it's very very very addictive

Seriously, when I first started, I was at times very very flaustrated, but as I kept practicing, my pics showed clear improvement. It's just a matter of practice ;) Just give it a try, you will love it ;)

Really nice and sharp, although I don't have a clue what they are. I find it so difficult to focus when the critters are moving around so much. guess I need more patience.

Wonderful series- what amazing little critters. The last one has got to be the well known armor plated tortoise shelled chaemeleon eyed shaving brush species :) .

What a brilliant series! The albino frog in drag gets the top prize from me!
I love it when they have the fiber optic shreds coming out of their back ends.

Thanks for your very kind words. I had trouble focusing when I first started macro photography, but things do get better with practice ;) Thanks again! :)
