I'm not sure the girl on the left in #3 is "just having fun" Great shots....tubing is always a blast!

She was actually having fun just not sure what see thought was going to happen going over the next wake. The girl on the right just had a great smile no matter what we did to her!

Karl, We had use of a Supra and a Moomba V drive wakeboard boats. I have owned both a Nautique Super Air and in the old ski days had a Mastercraft Pro Star. The build of the Natique is awesome but I was very impressed with the Supra. We now have one as a company boat and I have been very impressed.

I should also note the no animals or humans were injured during this shoot!

Thanks, I think everyone was having a good time at this shoot. The drivers were enjoying it, the riders were having fun and as the photographer I had a ball trying to keep up with it all.

Shooting waterskiing is difficult, as I just found out. Went to another local show last night and took some shots. Sure wish I had a 45-point AF system! :D When I got home, discovered some shots OOF even though I thought they were in focus. Not to mention, had problems with the backgrounds and light angle. Guess I need to be on a chase boat next time!

Oh well, live and learn.

Karl, keep trying, it is difficult but practice helps. You do not want to rely on a better AF system, if you can learn with what you have and perfect it when it is time to move up in gear it will be that much easier. Take your time and try different things when you get the chance to shoot. Thansk for looking,
Pete
