Wazza -- great shots. The Cheetah and Lioness are my favorites. The Cheetah is so etheral. I think I'd like the Lioness even more if you could clone out that rope over her ear. Nice color and sharpness. Love the Meekat, too. Super job.

These are very good shots, sad to hear about the Tiger though.
The first shot got me chuckling. Well done.

Thanks :)

The shot of Nisha and the cardboard boxes was the last time I saw her in April/May...
She had a heart attack a few weeks later...

She didn't climb her pole for her food as she usually does, but she was a healthy cat, about 7 years old I think

This is one I took last year on a POTN outing... using the 100-400L, all the other ones were with the Sigma 120-300.

Love the giraffe one, and the meerkat - they're all amazing and beautiful, but giraffes and meerkats are my favorite!

Fortunately I've got a friend who works for Camera House! Who shall remain nameless... to protect from association with my photos.

I'm heading for that thread to say hello now!

When are you upgrading? Kirst is looking for a Sigma 70-200 ;)
(well within a year anyway... I'm looking for the Sigma 70-200 macro.. maybe if I bought one eventually, and allowed her to use it.. or shucks even paid half each! :D)

Thanks ghocking. :)

May try cloning out the rope, as already mentioned to give a cleaner shot.
