how do I use photoshop to filter out dirt ,specks on a reflective subject without making the color blur out? I use the filter section but the text background just blur out. Am I doing something wrong?

Usually I use the clone stamp (its on the tool bar) to individually remove each spec, without ruining the overall image (if done right you will never be able to tell that anything was removed). Try Googling "Photoshop clone stamp" for some tutorials. ok thanks for the tips digital wave. I never heard of clone stamps. Canon 1DM4,7D, Rebel XT

It is much better, imo, assuming that you have a decent source to select from. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
