Are you going to be using it indoors or outdoors?
It would help knowing this.
If indoors I wouldn't worry about it and just get a big sheet of polystyrene and point the flash at that then bounce the light back from that towards the subject/object that you are shooting. As for outdoors I've never thought about using one of these. I mainly use diffusing screens and much softer light.

Relationships are like photography, it has to click. :)

If you have a potatomasher Metz, Photoflex and Chimera make an adapter that holds one of their regular softbox speed rings on the Metz. Chimera and Photoflex have small (16" x 22", Photoflex) / extra small softboxes ( also 16" x 22", Chimera) that fit the speed rings. I have a Chimera that I put on my Metz 45 on a light stand, triggered with radio slave and Auto output flash via a Metz photosensor that is not blocked by the softbox. I have not attempted to see if anything fits hotshoe flashes besides the Wescott MicroApollo true softbox, or the Photoflex and Lumiquest vinyl/inflatable units.
