you seem to be stuck on f11 iso200 with your Mp E65 - don't blame you as it certainly does the business. The detail on the Comma is impressive. Obviously the insects in your garden are all tamed by now which is cheating.

Thanks RM- have to admit I haven't played with the settings too much- these just seem to give me more of a natural light look when the light is good but still work well in dull conditions. Tend to play much more with the settings with the 300D/105mm EX without flash.
Don't think I'll ever understand bugs- sometimes you can't get within 2 feet of them and other times they don't seem to mind you sticking a camera up their nose :)
I've only seen the comma butterfly twice so haven't got it fully trained yet ;)

Yet another excellent series Brian, all of them are truly excellent but the Wolf Spider portrait and Comma Butterfly stand out.

On a side note, have you ever thought of doing tutorial sessions like Moose Peterson or Arthur Morris do? You'd make a killing!

Funny thing, I use those exact same settings on my Sigma 150mm lol! I thought I had the camera set to ISO 400, but checked the other day and it's been ISO 200 for god knows how long! This seems to be a magical setting...

Thanks Ian FP and Dave for the comments, :) :)
Dave have been asked a few times if I'd do a macrophotography workshop but I reckon it would last about 5 minutes. The reason being half the time I don't know what I am doing- I just do it :). I do answer a lot of questions both here and on Flickr and have done a few tutorials on flickr.

I'm sure you'd be capable of doing workshops and would do a grand job.
