you seem to be stuck on f11 iso200 with your Mp E65 - don't blame you as it certainly does the business. The detail on the Comma is impressive. Obviously the insects in your garden are all tamed by now which is cheating.
Thanks RM- have to admit I haven't played with the settings too much- these just seem to give me more of a natural light look when the light is good but still work well in dull conditions. Tend to play much more with the settings with the 300D/105mm EX without flash.
Don't think I'll ever understand bugs- sometimes you can't get within 2 feet of them and other times they don't seem to mind you sticking a camera up their nose 
I've only seen the comma butterfly twice so haven't got it fully trained yet
