i got my IS one week after i got the 24-70 (geez did that hurt on the pockets!!), on the 16/05/06, so a little over 2 months ago, does that still count?

Wow, looking at this thread, canon have made a crap load of money already from the people who have replied to this thread.

So now a question to you fellow 70-200 users, do you ever get the feeling that you attract so much attention to yourself when shooting with the 70-200? Especially the f2.8 with the hood on?

I can't believe the looks i get and the comments i get once i put that thing on the camera, its bad enough shooting with the 24-70 and hood 90% of the time, once you put its big brother in... omg its another story.

The "What's the zoom on that thing?" question has definately doubled since I got this lens. Yes.

Today was like Xmas for me. First at work FedEx brought my 70-200 f/4, then I get home and the 50mm 1.8 is waiting for me. Then 10 minutes later UPS drops of the 28-135 IS.

Hehe nobody have asked me about that. Not even since I got the 1d MKIIN  But I do "feel" the looks sometimes when shooting.

I almost qualify.
I got a 200mm f2.8L MK I recently.
Second hand, for a friend, cheap :(

It's tiny compared to the 70-200 2.8L

But man it goes for a lens that's over 10 years old :D
