I just ordered my 70-200 F4 L and 30D off Kerso last night. So around two weeks or so and I'm in the L club. :)

If you have the urge for one week it's ok. Otherwise you must stand in line ... ;)

I have been shooting with my first DSLR for a little over a year now (Rebel XT). I have been learning with the kit lens and the 50mm f/1.8 during this time and have had lots of fun learning the equipment, how to use some technques I read about and what limitations my gear put on me. I recently replace the kit lens with the Tamron 17-50 2.8 (awesome lens btw) and today I got the funds together and "pulled the trigger" so to speak, and ordered the 70-200 2.8 IS. at B&H's PSAUG price of $1599. Originally I was waiting out for the f/4 IS, but since the price is $1250 I felt the $350 more for the 2.8 IS was worth it. Mainly for the extra stop when using a teleconverter and the bonus of coming with the tripod ring. Anyhow, I am relatively new to the board so I look forward to sharing some pics with you as they come along.. Great board btw, people are more serious in their responses and information here as opposed to some others.

Mine arrived today.

What a super lens! :D

Sharp, lightweight, sturdy, and very fast focus. Only drawback is the LOUD (!) focus...

I'm wondering if it's a problem or just a normal thing?

It is apart from that superb!

i feel a little better knowing that im not the only one experiencing this. maybe others will chime in on this. if not we have a year warranty. i would feel if the noise is not normal it would tear up long before that.

Loud focus?
Has it got IS?
If so then turn that off and see if there's a difference.
It should be almost completely silent.
