thankyou to all for your lovely comments on my first lot, so here are 4 more for you. Off to cairns for a holiday and to give my camera a good workout, hope i will have something worth posting when i get back. None of these have any pp done yet. .

I'll suggest the Butterfly Sanctury at Karunda it might give you a controlled environment to get some close ups. As there are a fantastic range there.

Great series :D I like #1 for its color and composition, but I think it would be much better if the focus was on the top of the thing in the center.

I agree, I sometimes have trouble with that, would be nice if the s2 had a manual focus ring, instead of that stupid button. (and learn stacking) But in fairness, i must admit i wasn't thinking of that at the time, so i will take more care next time. I was taking photos in a bit of a hurry, my companion wasn't the most patient person. I hope one day to go back, and spend ALL day there, instead of 3 hours.
